Rodney Freeland
Managing Director
Rodney founded BCNS in 1999 with his co-Director, Alan. At the time, Alan and Rodney were both working for IT businesses but had foreseen the day when they would want to run a more pro-active company with a strong focus on the strategic implementation of IT to drive business processes on behalf of their clients.
Now, Rodney holds responsibility for the direction of BCNS, the people and the day to day running of the business, along with developing partner relationships that will keep BCNS at the front of IT services. In the rare moments when he isn't working, Rodney finds plenty to do - including DIY, building things and inventing.
Alan Tucker
Technical Director
Alan is our Technical Director, responsible for the scoping and delivery of complex IT projects. Alan set up BCNS Ltd in 1999 with his co-Director, Rodney. At the time, Alan and Rodney were both working for IT businesses but had foreseen the day when they would want to run a more pro-active company with a strong focus on the strategic implementation of IT to drive business processes on behalf of their clients. Alan has worked in IT since school, developing an expertise in finding innovative and effective IT solutions for clients. When he's not working, Alan likes diving and gaming.

The BCNS Approach
BCNS is a long-established business, providing IT support and consultancy to organisations, education providers and charities across the UK. What we do may be similar to other IT companies but the way we think and work is different. We want your business to succeed - and for your IT to help you achieve your ambitions. Our role is to understand IT and to advise you on what's available, how to migrate your systems and how to stay safe in a time of increasing cyber crime. No flannel, no over-selling and no jargon.
Our team is based around the South West predominately although we work with clients anywhere in the UK, either remotely or in person as required. Our management team are based in our Plymouth office while our engineers are out on the road with clients most of the time.
