Independent School Values Support – Saint Martin’s School
With IT being widely used both across the curriculum and for administration, a smoothly running system with reliable and professional back-up is crucial for success in the education sector.
That is why Saint Martin’s, of Bruton Avenue, Solihull, turned to Business Computing and Network Services Ltd (BCNS) when looking for a new contractor to support and maintain its IT system.
Network Manager Pete Carlson heads a team of two at the independent school which employs 75 and educates 500 girls aged from 3 to 18.
Pete chose Devon-based BCNS because of Sales Director Mike Mena: “He came to talk to us and offered us a better deal than our previous IT company and with an improved support package.”
As a result, since the start of the academic year in September, BCNS has been responsible for maintaining the school’s IT system and also sourcing its software – which Pete finds is helpful to be managed centrally.
Looking to the future, he is working with BCNS on analysing and planning for future technical developments at the school.
“We’re very happy with the level of support from BCNS who are a straightforward and no nonsense type of company that knows what we need, where we need to be and how to get there.”
